ETERNAL KNIGHTS

Eternal Knights is a new horror/suspense property being developed by Heatwave Interactive. In Eternal Knights, Vampires and Angels are locked in a war that will determine the fate of humanity and everyday people are forced to make terrible choices that may swing the balance between chaos and order.

Like all Heatwave properties, Eternal Knights began as a game concept and once the team was satisfied that the game concept was strong, the scope was widened to target relevant forms of media. The property’s main focus is on the struggles of mortal men and women trying to navigate the constant manipulation of the supernatural forces who wish to use them in a war raging between The Heavenly Host and The Demonic forces of Hell. The main themes of Eternal Knights are Temptation, Transformation, Revelation and Redemption.

The world of Eternal Knights is much like ours, a duality of progress and savagery, advanced technology and extreme poverty, rising conservation and unprecedented pollution. Unlike our world, however, in Eternal Knights the supernatural is present in far more than ancient religious texts and the late night fears of lonely souls. A constant struggle is taking place for the souls of humanity that bubbles just below the awareness of the general populace. As the name suggests, this conflict has raged since the beginning of time and will continue until the final days. The key to this struggle is the Awakened, those humans who are innately aware that there is more at stake than the mundane affairs of daily life. Only an Awakened soul can bolster the armies of the supernatural. As such, they are constantly tempted, persuaded, and tormented by supernatural beings that wish to sway them to one side or the other.
